INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef -- browned and drained
2 packages taco seasoning mix
1 16oz can tomatoes with green chilies -- undrained
1 16oz can black beans -- undrained
1 16oz can corn -- undrained
1 can black olives -- chopped or sliced
1 medium onion -- chopped
1/2 bell pepper -- chopped
4 tomatillos (optional) -- chopped

DIRECTIONS
Place everything in a large crockpot, add water, if necessary, to fill. Cook on Low for 5 or more hours until flavors are blended. Top each bowl with a handful of shredded cheddar cheese. Serve with sour cream, taco chips and salsa on the side. Serves 6.

this is super easy to put together. also i tried what one of the other reviewers said, to add beer instead of water and that really works out well (espically the next day). yum!!

Try adding a packet of dry Ranch, it really brings out the taste!

I love this soup! I also add a can of white kidney beans and use beer instead of water!

I made a double batch in a 6 qt. cooker using one lb. ground beef and 1 lb. chorizo sausage. I used kidney beans instead of black beans because I didn't have the black. Took it to church to feed hungry musicians and it was a big hit!

This soup is excellent! It's easy to make, very filling and absolutely delicious. Easily my new favorite soup recipe!!

This soup was really good. It has a kick to it with the chilies, etc. The only thing is that it doesn't say to add any water so I added water to it to make it more like a soup. Other than that, it was great.
