3 to 4 pounds country-style ribs
1 (20-oz.) can undrained pineapple chunks
2 (8-oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/2 cup thickly sliced green pepper
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced

Place ribs in slow cooker. In a bowl, combine pineapple, tomato sauce, onion, green pepper, brown sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Pour mixture over the country-style ribs; cover and cook low 8 to 10 hours, or until ribs are cooked through and tender.Serves 6 to 8.

this is only the third time i cook anything in our slow cooker. husband and i loved it. our 3 kids age 3-9mths all ate and liked it. i did red bell pepper instead of green and added chili powder to my serving very good. thanks for sharing this

This was very good and I will make it again. The only thing I did different than the recipe was forget to plug in the crock pot and end up having to put it in the fridge to marinade for a day. Thanks for the recipe Debbie.

This is a modified version of "Asian Spareribs" from I like this one better, as it has a better blend of flavors. I like a little more teriyaki sauce.
