Ingredients
16 ounces prunes, pitted
8 ounces dried apricots
8 ounces dried pears
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 vanilla bean or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients together in the Crock Pot and cook on low until the fruit is tender, 6 to 8 hours.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
