INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 jar tomato sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vinegar
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tbsp cumin
2 1/2 tbsp chili powder
1 red or green pepper - chopped
1 can kidney beans (rinsed)
1-2 garlic cloves
dash of oregano
Tabasco, salt & pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Brown beef in pan and drain excess fat.
Brown onion and pepper in olive oil, then transfer to slow cooker.
Add beef and sprinkle spices on top.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

This recipe was great! I love spicy so I added some more heat to it. Also, I added some beef broth to cut the tomato base just a bit. Very good--definitely will make this again.

We've made this a couple of times and it's great. Once we substituted ground turkey and we couldn't even tell the difference.

Amazing recipe - super easy to make. Add a bit more chili powder to ensure the flavor.
