Fabulous Cheese Fondue

INGREDIENTS
1 Tbs margarine
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbs all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup reduced-fat milk
8-oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
8-oz Gruyère cheese
2-oz Blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
4 - 6 drops hot pepper sauce
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in the stoneware. Cover cook on Low 2-2 1/2 hours, stirring once or twice, until cheese is melted and smooth.

Gaa! Onions? Hot sauce? Blue cheese? Cheddar! The horror! Fondue is made with Emmental, Tilsit, and Gruyere. White wine and kirsch, garlic, many add nutmeg. That is all.
I did not make this. Can't even stomach the thought of it. |
