INGREDIENTS
6 eggs

DIRECTIONS
Put 3 to 6 eggs (straight from the refrigerator) into the slow cooker and cover with lukewarm water (about 3 to 4 cups water in a 3 1/2-quart pot). Cover and cook on low for about 3 1/2 hours. This is handy for times the stovetop isn't available.

Happy to have found this recipe. My mother lives in place without a stove and can only have some simple electric appliances. Even though the place where she lives provides meals she loves to have hard boiled eggs occasionally. Sometimes you have to use wht'a available to you.

Do not appreciate some of these comments. I am multi-disabled and hard boiled eggs were the first item I cooked in my slow cooker. My stove happens to be disconnected since I am no longer strong enough to use it. I would like more of these "simple" ideas.

OMG. This is ridiculous. The only person who commented that this is a good idea thinks you say "an voila". Genius

Why would you be so rude and put a comment like that. Like it says its for when the stovetop isn't available.

Great way to have breakfast ready upon rising. Put them in before bedtime an voila!

WOW, why cook something in three minutes when you can take three and a half hours !! Unbelievable.
