Question to Nancy: Can you do the same with bacon & cabbage rather than corned beef & cabbage ?

Tryed this and it turned out very nice for the most part. However, 3 hours on high for the cabbage is WAY to long, unless you feed through a straw. Next time I do this recipe 1 to 1.5 hours max on the cabbage.

I haven't made this recipe, but I'm wondering how to push four cabbage wedges down into one cup of liquid. ???
