Brown Rice And Chicken

INGREDIENTS
1 c. diced cooked chicken
2 onions, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 c. cooked brown rice
1/4 c. dry white wine
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. sliced almonds
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on automatic 4 to 5 hours. Serve with sliced almonds lightly toasted.

Not sure about this recipe if it's written correctly. What's the purpose cooking it in the crock pot if it's already using cooked ingredients? Are you sure you use cooked chicken and already cooked rice? And then cook that for 8 hours? This doesn't seem right to me. But it sounds like something I'm looking for but with uncooked ingredients. |
