SUBMITTED BY: Colin
Category: Beef
INGREDIENTS
2-3 pounds roast cut into bite sized pieces
1 packet Lipton's Onion soup mix
2 cans Cream of mushroom soup
DIRECTIONS
Place pieces of roast in crock pot. Sprinkle packet of onion soup on meat. Cover with cream of mushroom soup. Let cook up to 9 hours. Stir about 1/2 way through cooking (but I'm sure you could just stir at the end). Serve over mashed potatoes or pasta.

my family loved this recipe, my only suggestion is to use low salt cream of mushroom soup if your on a low salt diet as it is a little too salty. |

this was the best beef & gravy I've ever made. it was so easy to put together. I let it cook on high though for about 6hrs and it was ready to eat by the time we got home.
I added about half a can of water to it because i didn't want it to get too thick, but next time i might not put water at all, it just made more gravy then we wanted.
If you want to cook it on HIGH i bought Beef Stew Cuts and just cut up the bigger pieces so it would be cooked.
Also, if you can find it at your store, you should try Garlic Potatoes with this, it is AWESOME! A++ for this one. |

Great recipe..You can just stir at the end. Also, I served over cooked rice and that was delicious too. |

I used top sirloin because of the low fat content. It was "lick the plate" good! |
