INGREDIENTS
2 pounds of lean hamburger
2 eggs
2 slices bread, in small cubes
Milk
Ketchup
Salt and pepper
1 small onion, chopped

DIRECTIONS
Beat eggs - add bread cubes. Add enough milk to moisten all. Add hamburger....squish all together with your hands. Season to taste. Place in slow cooker/Crock Pot....shape to fit, flatten. Pour catsup on top (enough to cover completely) Crock on low all day 8 - 12 hours.
Notes: I've also used crushed crackers instead of bread, and salsa instead of the ketchup.

With only 1/2 lb. of meat, you'll probably want to use just one egg.

The meatloaf was very good. I added some fresh garlic and worchestshire sauce as well. Added the potatoes and carrots on the bottom but they were not good. My 3 year old ate 3 helpings. :)

I like simple meatloaf, sometimes people are so busy, to put together a bunch of ingredients to have a meal. I like this meatloaf. I put potatoes and carrots at the bottom of the slow cooker then add the meat about, 20-30 min when the meat is done I put cheese on top of it yummy. Thanks for this recipe.
